Geocache Description:

At East Tulsa Travel Bug Institute we care about your travel bugs. Your bug will be trapped, I mean pampered, in a small metal box, nestled in the woods of an east Tulsa park. We have all types of climate here in Tulsa for your bug to enjoy--bone-chilling cold, blistering heat, rain forest humidity, rain, snow, lightning, and tornadoes. The temperature at The Institute is almost always maintained faithfully between 0° and 105° F. The bugs have a nice gravel walking trail just a few feet away, if only they could get out of the cache box. And the view from The Institute, it's an incredible panorama of dead logs, tree bark, and dense foliage, simply breathtaking. That is if they could see out, which of course they can't. So bring all your travel bugs to The Institute, for an experience they won't soon forget.

This cache is in east Tulsa near the following three major highways: I-44, I-244 (US-412), US-169. Parking at 36°09.584' 95°50.858. The cache is an easy walk of about 400 feet from this location. The terrain is rated 2 because there is dense vegetation immediately around the cache. There is poison ivy in the area but you do not need to go through it. The initial contents includes Mr. Magnet Geocoin, In Memory of David Travel Bug, and several other items to trade. Please cover the cache before you leave.

See the hints if you want an easy find.

Thanks to Tulsa Parks for permission to geocache in this park. Curfew for Tulsa Parks is 11 pm to 5 am. Dogs are required to be on a leash.

--Congrats to DrLeDoux on the first to find.--
