Geocache Description:

The coordinates listed above will take you to a Historical marker that tells about Hiram S. Allen. He has the distinction of being called the founder of Chippewa Falls.

Take some time to check out this beautiful little park. If you use your imagination a bit you can almost hear the sounds of the falls and lumber mill that was located in this area almost 175 years ago. This is a multi cache requiring a little math calculation using information that is listed on the marker. The final cache can be found at: N44° 56.0AB W091°23.3CD AB = Number of children Hiram Allen had + 68 CD = The year the Village of Chippewa Falls was surveyed and plotted -1772. Note: if you solved this in the past, the final is in a new location. You will need to recalculate! BYOP
