This side road appears to be the original 1915 Ridge Route roadway alignment. The cement roadbed is visible for a short distance where it diverges from the current road alignment.

A very short hill climb. Log only, bring your own pen/pencil.

I'd thought about placing a cache near here before. When Ridge Route - Power Benchmarking inadvertently ended up with two cache containers I had a surplus container on my hands. Then I discovered another benchmark at this location. So ... yes, it's another YJ&D benchmark cache.
