Stuart Overlook(a.k.a. "Angel Island Central") Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

WRITE SHOP ROBERT: I've recieved confirmation thet the pile of tree stumps that were here, and concealing the Cache are no longer at the site. I suspect the Cache(s) have been scooped up with the stumps when they were removed. It was fun while it lasted, but there are still plenty to find on the island (about three times as many as when I placed this one).

Geocache Description:

Stuart OverlookThis cache was placed while I was on an excursion to Angel Island (My first time in a lifetime). Don't be fooled by the name, it does not overlook Stuart, but instead it overlooks Blunt (I forgot where I was when I hid it, and I wrote "Stuart Overlook" on the cover of the logbook, so I'll leave the name the same here). There was a special prize for the First To Find , but "cooperphoto" figured out that the "Bookmark WILDCARD" was the prize.

When you make the trip to Angel Island, I would recommend bringing a bike to help you get around (at least to use on the perimeter road). At the time I hid the cache, it was number twelve on the island. If you come over on the ferry, I'm not sure there's enough time to find them all in one day (I sure couldn't do it). Your trip will involve A LOT of hiking and a fair amount of hills (which is why I gave it a medium terrain rating).

(a.k.a. "Angel Island Central")
