This Cache is placed in honour of my wife’s favourite movie “Barefoot in the Park” which starred Robert Redford and Jane Fonda in 1963.
It is rumoured that in the late 60’s Mr Redford would occasionally sneak into Sydney and travel to Appin incognito for rest and recuperation after the demanding task of movie making.
The cache is located in a Geokid friendly park with modern play equipment and picnic facilities. Across the road is the historic Appin Hotel, if you fancy a little refreshment after your thirsty adventures in Geocaching.
The cache contains part of the coordinates for the nearby multicache “Cadel”
