This is a TWO stage multi-cache. There is no physical cache at the first stage, just awesome views.
You may need a forest pass to park. You choose the trailhead you want, there are a few choices.
Go to the listed coordinates and you will find 4 sets of steel in the near vicinity. Sit down, enjoy your lunch and the spectacular views. When you are ready to begin you will need to count all the individual pieces that were used in this metal wonder.
I saw 5 different types of hardware, this is what I call them: Eyebolts, Shackles, Washers, Nuts, & Bolts. Count them and do some simple math to get the final cords.
N44 1J.KLM W121 5Q.RST
Where JK = (Eyebolts + Washers + Nuts) times 4
LM = (Eyebolts + Shackles + Nuts + Bolts + Washers) times 3
QR = (Nuts + Bolts + Washers) times 4
ST = (Bolts + Eyebolts + Washers) times 3
Just count carefully and you should be on your way.
The only 'difficult' part of the trip (IMHO) was maybe the last 1/2 mile. Most of the rest was gradual.
When we placed this cache we also did Odders - High Mountain Lakes Trio GCPTG3, GCQ89G, GCQ89A. Great caches you should bag on your way. A special thanks to Odder for pointing us to this great hiking area.
This is NOT intended to be a difficult cache, I am sorry if it ends up being that way. If you go and cant find the cache, email me a picture of your team at the top with Belknap Crater in the background and I will guide you further.
