AYB — BONUS — All your base are belong to us. Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

MMACH 5: Since I've archived the cache holding the coordinates and combination for this cache, I decided to pull this container and re-hide it, elsewhere.

Amazing how fast this area changes. It looks nothing like it did the last time I was here.

Cache on.

Geocache Description:

Just a bit of geek nostalgia. Some of you probably remember the "All your base are belong to us" craze. Zerowing was a video game that was very poorly translated from Japanese to English. Quotes of the choppy grammar became mainstays in message boards for several years afterward. Some folks even super imposed these quotes onto images and posted them on the web. If this is completely new to you or if you just want to refresh your memory, here's where you can find out all you need to know: AYB Official Video Site.

The cache is NOT at the above coordinates. You will have to find the first three in the AYB series in order to get the correct location.
Also, this is a locked ammo box. You will find different numbers to the combination at each of the AYB series caches.

AYB series — What you say. Congrats to tboymacrev on the FTF.
AYB series — Make your time. Congrats to am411 on the FTF.
AYB series — For great justice. Congrats to thepadre on the FTF.

This cache is in a much harsher area than the first three in the AYB series. I think the poison ivy and thorny vines here have choked out most other types of plants except for weeds. You will likely be covered to your waist in burrs when you emerge from the undergrowth. It's not a long hike but it is bushwhacking almost the whole way.

This is an ammo box about the size of a desktop CPU. It has a lock at each end. Use the same combination for both locks. The lid lifts off and is not hinged. Since this is a rather large ammo box, you can bring bigger TBs and trade items.

After several folks have had some trouble opening the locks, here is a refresher on how these work:
1) Turn the dial two full rotations to the right, (this clears or resets the tumblers), and stop on the first number.
2) Turn the dial one full rotation to the left, (passing the first number), and stop on the second number.
3) Turn the dial to the right, going directly to the third number.
I hope this helps.

NOTE: There is a parking lot very near this cache that is posted as private property. DO NOT park there. On one of my scouting trips, I saw an officer writing someone a ticket who had ignored the sign.
