Geocache Description:

Searching for an Ammo Can. You'll know you're within sight when you find the dead deer and hear the protests of the Canada Geese. Parking and picnic shelter available at the SW corner of the park next to the road.

Take time today to explore this large public area via the wide walking trails. Can you imagine the sights and sounds of hundreds of former Boy Scouts as then spent all seasons here? The property included a shooting range and canoe launch building as well as acres of campsites. Remaining are monuments as well as a quaint worship chapel, flower gardens and log bridges. Bring the kids for a full day of adventure.
