This Cache is found on the "nature trail" on the south side of Douglas Mountain. There is a well marked trail which is steep for a short distance but highest elelvation only being aprox 1400.
The Cache is a small 4" round container. Clear with black top. Contains trademark photo of cache "keeper". With log, pencil and assorted "goodies".
There is a parking lot at the base of the mountain trail with a seasonal fee of $3.00. In the winter the lot is not plowed and you can park off the Ledge Rd which is your first left off Douglas Mnt Rd. While at the cache you will enjoy views of the southern tip of Sebago Lake and the North Baldwin countryside. You should continue up the trail to the stone observation tower for panoramic views of Mnt Washinton and Sebago Lake. This a great day hike with great views and other caches available!
