The Hofheimer Trail Traditional Geocache
Jinxdude30: Now that my Hofheimer series of caches are now almost two years old, I think that it is time to clear the space in the park for some new caches. This will give everybody in the area the chance to come back to the park and do some new caches, and walk on these trails again. So, i'm archiving all of my Hofheimer Caches (except the grotto cache because that was the first cache I ever hid) in order to make way for a new series that i'm putting out shortly. Thanks to all those who have found these caches!!!

This a sequel to the nearby Beautiful Grotto Cache, both of these caches were hidden by the creators of the jersey geocaching podcast and radio show. Learn more at www.jerseygeocaching.com This cache is located on The Hofheimer Nature Trail walking distance away from the grotto. However this ones a little more difficult....
The best way to get to this cache is by driving to the Warren Public Works Department/ Warren Police Station. Head up to the baseball fields and park in the lot next to them (same lot that you may have parked in for the beautiful grotto cache). To get to this cache walk PAST the baseball fields and follow the trail sign for "THE HOFHEIMER TRAIL" the cache is located just a few feet from the trail. The cache is hidden pretty well but the clue should give it away if you are stuck. While on the trail you may even notice a mausoleum. This Mausoleum is the final resting place of Nathan Hofheimer, the man who built the grotto and the man this trail is named after. Please be respectful if you see the mausoleum, local police DO NOT appreciate people hanging out around the mausoleum! And I am not responsible for anyone who gets in trouble hanging out over there! Enjoy the cache on the scenic trail!
*******I hid this cache on a cloudy day and GPS reception wasn't to good. Please let me know if the coordinates are off by a few feet! The hint should give away the spot if you are stuck********
