To get there: Take US Rt. 30 to the top of Laurel Mountain. Turn onto Laurel Summit Rd -- follow signs for Laurel Mountain Ski Resort. Go past the entrance to the ski area, following Laurel Summit Rd. The coordinates for the parking area are:
N40°07.982'
W079°09.832'
Follow Beam Rock Trail, a fairly easy trail for a distance of about .33 mile. It is all mountain trails and will be muddy when wet. The trail will lead you straight to Beam Rocks. Caution is advised when walking around the rock formations. This area is in it's natural state. There are no hand rails, there are long drops of 80 feet or more. You may even be lucky enough to see people rock climbing or rapelling. There is a spectacular view to the east, although you cannot see the USX tower in Pittsburgh (Sorry Questmaster).
To get to the cache from the rock formations, follow your GPSr.
