Ok so this has been a long time coming. The story starts back on
March 6th of 2005. The local area had been hit with a lot of
storms. On a rare nice day, I took the family out for a little
cache hunting. Our first stop was
"Lower Scholl Canyon Park" by f0t0m0m. The GPSr said we were
about 150 feet away from ground zero. I was in the lead, and my
son, NESKID, says "Hey Dad, I found". I told him it could not be
the cache because we were still 150 feet away. But he insisted that
he had found the cache. Sure enough, he had. The ammo can had been
in a mud slide. It ended up right in the middle of the trail,
buried in the mud with only the label showing. We took the whole
cache home and emailed f0t0m0m, figuring we could just arrange to
drop it off. At any rate, f0t0m0m just said to recycle the can into
another cache and have finally done so. Hence, this cache is Owed
to f0t0m0m.
For the Difficulty and Terrain Ratings, I used the tool on the
website. Let me know if you think they need to ba adjusted.
The placed, the original contents of the cache were:
A pair of used computer speakers
A new set of Salt and Pepper Shakers
A new combo lock
A new basketball night light
A new Rubiks (type) Cube
The "Lil Yellow Stapler" Travel Bug
A log book and a pen.
Happy Caching
There are some other caches nearby, so make a day of it.
