Geocache Description:

Its that time to gather again for a World Wide Flash Mob event! Bookmark this cache to catch any update as they are posted. The event is taking place on a nice, green hill. Wheelchairs should be able to get to the area without any difficulty. Lots of parking nearby.

This flash mob event is part of a much larger effort by geocachers around the world. At 12 noon, CST, other World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM) events across the country and around the world will occur. Come and be a part of this epic event.

If you haven't participated in a WWFM event before, you're in for a treat! We'll meet at the posted coordinates and participate in a little kooky behavior for exactly fifteen minutes, then promptly disassemble. We'll probably wind up with some kind of post-event get-together for the usual eating, lie-swapping, eating, caching, eating activities, so stay tuned here for more info!

***We all know those cachers who have been known to 'Spin a Yarn' or two. Well, it is now time for us to learn a thing or two about all that yarn and what geocaching means to each of us.

You are asked (but not required) to bring a BALL of yarn to this event. The ball of yarn should be in a color or colors that in some way connects you to geocaching.
Some examples are:
Bright Green---for all the trees/nature
Brown---for the mud we trek around in
Yellow---the nice sunny days perfect for caching
Red---for the blood shed when we encounter thorns
Black---those d*** nanos

USE YOUR IMAGINATION!

Just make a note in your intent to attend about what color and why.

IF you decide NOT to bring a ball of yarn----just be prepared to participate in a slightly different manner----hehehehe....you have been warned!

11:45 -11:59 AM - Participants: Wait patiently and/or stroll around the area. STAY AWAY from ground zero until the signal is given. As much as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen. At 11:59AM converge on ground zero. The Flash Mob Event has begun.

12:00 Noon - Log sheets will be handed out for those who did not bring their own. Bring your own writing instrument. Sign individual log sheets and drop them in the collection box. Mingle. Trade travel bugs and coins. Share stories. Brag. Take pictures. Make arrangements to meet elsewhere, to eat or to find the various caches in the nearby area.

12:02PM- Special activity, did you bring your yarn and a childlike heart!

12:12PM - Assemble for a group photo, and assemble FAST. Listen to the photographer for directions. Group photo is taken. (ANYBODY WANT TO TAKE THE PIC???)

12:14 PM - One minute warning is called "It is now 12:14!" Prepare to leave.

12:15 PM EXACTLY - Wait for it ... then LEAVE the area (right at 12:15 PM)! Meet elsewhere if desired. The log sheet bucket will be packed up. If your log’s not in the bucket, you can't log the event.

If everything goes right we will have lots of people coming out of nowhere and gathering for 15 minutes, holding a geocaching event and then disappearing…This will be lots of fun and maybe even raise a few muggle eyebrows!

* Credit is given to other WWFM web pages for the content.

Be sure to sign a log card and put it in the bucket.

***If you would like to help in any manner please get in touch with me. We can always use prizes, we need someone to take the pic, and somebody to man the log bucket.

Of course a POST WWFM eating event would be nice!***
