Geocache Description:

Nice view over the north-eastern part of Istanbul.

This cache brings you a hill over Sultanbeyli, where you have a great view. You can see the hills at the Bosphorus, the still fast growing sea of houses, the hopefully protected forests in the north and the (a I was told illegally built) new Formula 1 track in the north-east. You can park your vehicle at N40°58.973 E29°16.946, then take the rather steep path on the hill. It will take you about 20 minutes to the top. There was a bus stop in Sultanbeyli, too, so you might get here even with public transport, but I don't know how. Might even be nice to take a bike, but it's really steep.
The cache itself was a small film canister with a log book, placed besides a landmark. But since the kids around there seem to be active geomuggels, I changed it: Just take a photo to some direction as a proof that you've been there and add it to your log.
Enjoy the view!

Small note on cache maintenance: Local geocacher ufuk has agreed to assist. Thanks!
