How Geocaching Works
Do not attempt this cache if you have to damage the crops to get to it. If crops are planted, walk around the edge of the field. Crops such as wheat, oats and soy beans are easily damaged so leave the cache until after the harvest if you can not walk the edge without harming the crops. The cache will be archived if there are complaints or if I notice damage to the crops. Be very careful.
This cache is located on land owned by the Town of Neenah (TON). It highlights the Vining Homestead that is located northeast of the cache. There are no open/closed hours here but please only do this one during daylight. Do not disturb any crops.
This cache was placed with permission from David Dexter, Town Supervisor.
The Vining Homestead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of the oldest frame houses in Winnebago County.
