El Cheapo Grande #2 Traditional Geocache
klizich: In the area today shopping and doing cache maintenance. This one has been somewhat problematic with signal reception, and, is a fair distance from my home. I don't get down this way much anymore, [:(] so I figured this one had a good run and someone else may wish to cache the area. I will "resurrect" El Cheapo Grande #2 (- Reincarnation) in another area soon) [^]. Hope everyone enjoyed this one during its run; the area is really nice and historical. [8D]

This is a small plastic container placed in a park. Terrain and difficulty are not 1's because the place can be wet and muddy, otherwise easy.

I found this location while caching and have been wanting to continue the El Cheapo Grande series.
The location is Griffith Park in Boonton, NJ near the intersection of Powerville Road and N. Main Street. The container is a klizich flat black survival match holder (about the size od a "C" cell battery) which contains a log and pencil. You might be able to leave very small items, but it is probably better to just log in.
The cache is very near the old Morris Canal (dry) and the Rockaway River, a favorite fishing spot. Being a park, this could be muggle central at times, so use caution and be sneaky.
Cache is covered by bark/wood and not be hard to find.
There are some trees so you may experience fluctuations on your GPS.
