Geocache Description:

Come help cleanup a typical "dump" in the Cong! This is a CITO event in German Township, Fayette County on April 14, 2007. Thanks to Carl Williams from PA Cleanways and Bob Crousuore, German Township Supervisor, for helping organize everything. The listed coordinates are the actual site of the cleanup. Not sure about the terrain rating because there is a hill involved, where they toss the garbage over from the road.

We will meet at the German Township Municipal Building at 8:30 a.m.-- N 39° 52.847 W 079°53.352 Please wear boots/proper clothing/bring gloves and come ready to work.
This is a big project, but the opportunity to help is awesome. This is in an area that Section One of a new hiking trail will be passing. They are hoping to have it ready by this summer. Check out more info at www.brownsruntrail.com

Following the cleanup, we will have a potluck/picnic at the German Masontown Park. I will update when I know which pavilion we will use.

9:00-12 or 1:00 Cleanup N39°52.362 W079°54.291
1:00 Lunch/picnic N39°51.097 W079°53.628

We will need lots of help...recruit family/friends to help! Please let me know how many will be with you and what you would like to bring for the potluck. Hope to see you there!

3-23-07 UPDATE We will be using the very first big pavilion on your right as you are pulling into the park. It also has electrical outlets. There are restrooms, a playground, tennis courts, ballfield, horseshoes, etc. We are getting lots of help from the community! The local fire dept. will be helping. The property is owned by the Clark family, who also has a junkyard. They are helping and also bringing in a dumpster and a small highlift and dozer.

Carl will have pizza delivered to the picnic.
