Gullo Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mauison: I always wanted to make another cache like the one that was originally hidden but since I haven't been able to, it's time for this one to be archived. Mahalo to the 128 finders of it!

Geocache Description:

This should be a somewhat easy find, container is a camoed film canister. I rated the terrain 1.5 because although there is a paved walkway within a couple of feet, someone in a wheelchair might have trouble getting close enough to the cache. Have a seat at the nearby table to sign the log. This park is very close to a busy road so be careful grabbing and replacing the cache. I live very close so maybe I'll see a cacher or two searching for this one.

I was going to call this "San Jose's Smallest Park" but after taking a look at the list on the San Jose Parks website, not including the "tot lots", there were a few that were even smaller. That's hard to believe because if you see Gullo Park, it doesn't look like much of a park. Just a nice lawn, a couple of tables, a water fountain and a few trees. There's no park sign but fortunately the park shows up on Mapquest. Although on Mapquest, half of where the park is plotted is actually a 7-Eleven. I couldn't find any information why it was named Gullo so if anyone knows, I'd like to know too.

There's now room for trade items but please bring a writing instrument.

Congratulations to batecher on the FTF! He'll be getting a shiny new Oregon geocoin.
