For Redd the playground was a dangerous place. She has a scar on her left foot from being viciously pushed feet first under a merry-go-round by a group of military brat valley girls wannabes who didn't think her leg warmers were cool enough. An oxymoron of a predicament that in retrospect is more humorous than sad. Before she could get up and brush the dirt off her stirrup pants, the metal fame was already spinning down on her jellies. Although her scar doesn't hold a candle to Metal's brown recluse bite, it gives her character in her opinion which, by her definition, is the only opinion that really matters.
According to Wiki: "This Used to Be My Playground" is a song performed by Madonna. It is the theme for the film A League of Their Own, which starred Madonna as well as Tom Hanks, Geena Davis and Rosie O'Donnell. Though featured in the film, it is not available on the soundtrack album, due to licensing restrictions that prohibited Madonna material from being mixed or compiled with other singers on albums. It was originally available on the Olympics-inspired Barcelona Gold compilation album released that summer, but in a shorter edit than any of the versions on the commercial singles. It would later be featured on Madonna's 1995 ballads compilation, Something to Remember. The song was written and produced by Madonna and Shep Pettibone, and recorded prior to final sessions for her 1992 studio album Erotica.
