ROVER (Bucks) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Simply Paul: I checked on this one today, recovered the muggled micro and have contacted the last finders about locating the main box. Thanks to the DNF loggers who drew my attention to the problem here. The micro's been muggled many times and the tree it was hidden in seems to me 'marked for death' so I've decided it's time to 'rest' this cache. Thanks to everyone who came and found (and rehid!) it.

Cheers!

P.S. Any TBs aimed here as a part of the 'It's not an anorak, it's a TB race' can go to my nearest cache instead, which is Black Rook: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=bb272f35-b27e-4c44-a535-a633f21b3a4f Ta.

Geocache Description:

A sense of adventure and a GPSr are things cachers have in common, but cache-hunting pets and inter-cache transport seem to be shared ground too. In honour of all these caching dogs and cars, I've created this ROVING cache. There's parking to bring your dog (scoop that poop!) for a stroll in this park. The co-ords given above are the micro's location. Read the logs in it for the main boxes latest position!

ROVER (Bucks)

A fitting car parked near where Simply Paul hid the cache.

The Main Cache is located somewhere in the Playing fields!
Please read the last log left in the
micro at N51° 48.547 / W000° 50.288 to
discover the main cache's latest location.

This Puzzle-cache works thus:
i) A microcache with microlog is hidden at the given location.
ii) I've hiden the main cache somewhere in the park.
ii) You find the microcache and use the co-ords logged in it to find the main cache box.
iii) Note your visit in the main cache microlog and quickly rehide the cache elsewhere in the same park! It is clearly bordered by fences and hedgerows. Don't forget to use your GPS to record the new location.
iv) You return to the microcache and make a note of the new co-ords, as well as your name and the date. DO NOT MOVE THE MICROCACHE!
v) You log your find online in the usual way. Please don't include the new co-ords of the main cache.
vi) Someone else finds the micro, then the main cache. Then they move it to another point in the park and put the new location on the log in the micro... And so on!
vii) If it's not clear, please email me before attempting this cache!

Some rehiding criteria for the main cache:
The park is basically a rectangle. Parking can be found at one corner, around N51° 48.688 / W000° 50.315. Another corner gives you a view of the Golf course - N51° 48.600 / W000° 50.495. There's footpath access at N51° 48.498 / W000° 50.492. The corner near the Aylesbury to Oxford road is at N51° 48.411 / W000° 50.321. There's another footpath access point in the corner of the field at N51° 48.479 / W000° 50.123. If you find parking blocked off (the field is sometimes closed because of 'ground conditions' - I assume it's too hard for football?) then other parking can be found very close by, and access via the footpaths is still fine. Anywhere sensible in this park is ok. Just make sure the new main cache location is safe, sensible and secure. Please include a photograph of you rehiding the main cache if you can, to act as a clue. If no camera is available, please include an encrypted clue in your Found/Hid online log. Please don't take the cache beyond the clear confines of this playing field. Thank you!

Please note:
Although this is a wandering cache, it may only be logged once per cacher! Multiple logs will be deleted. Them's the rules.

Happy hunting (and hiding!)

A small experiment - Please feel free to rate your visit to this cache out of ten in your log.
