Geocache Description:

One of the 5 caches in the Prince George Pentcachelon. Find all 5 to discover the location of the Finish Line.

Prince George Pentcachelon is a multi-stage series of caches, brought to you by Icenrye. Each cache in the series contains a clue. Collect all the clues and you just might find yourself at the Finish Line..

Kristian Winther Regional Park is located on the south shore of the Salmon River, 30 km north of Prince George via the Hart Highway 97. The park is 70 acres in size and has a short 'loop' trail that travels along the Salmon river and back through some new growth forest. While on the trail keep an eye out for deer, moose and bear tracks or look into the trees for holes where birds may be nesting. The park features 2 acres of lawn for you to enjoy a game, a group gathering or just to spend some time with the family.
This park was founded by Chris Winther, Kristian's father as a living memorial to his only son. Kristian had spent many hours here, fishing, exploring Chris Wintherand enjoying the river. His hope was to create the opportunity for others to explore and enjoy the river with its surrounding nature. Kristian had gained his amazing knowledge of outdoor life through his own experiences as well as times spent with his family and friends outdoors. This park is too, a place for families and friends to spend time enjoying, exploring and learning about nature together.
Facilities at the park include picnic tables, fire pits and toilet facilities.
The cache is a sandwich sized lock-n-lock.

This cache is featured in my Geocaching Videozine which can be downloaded here.
