***The cache is not at the posted
coordinates***
**High Traffic Area - Use Extreme
Stealth**
This is an offset cache. The posted coordinates will take you
to a mailbox painted to look like the R2D2 character from Star
Wars.
To calculate the offset distance in feet, find the street address
of the business R2 is in front of. Multiply the street address by
the Zip Code where this R2 unit is located, and divide that number
by 6992.54. Round up to the next whole number. The bearing is 17ยบ
true North.
11/12/07 - UPDATE! I noticed this week that R2 has been painted
over/replaced or whatever, but it's back to being a standard
mailbox at this point. :(
Final contains a log only, so please bring
something to write with.
Extra credit for
posting a picture of yourself with R2D2!
Congratulations to
Erbie and Orbie.nl on the
FTF!!.

November 2 by Ariana20 (902 found) Was on vacation from Cleveland, Ohio with my husband Rross1973. We spent the weekend just hanging out and relaxing. This was 1 of 19 we grabbed during the weekend.
[view this log] | November 2 by Rross1973 (1281 found) Ariana20 & I are in from Cleveland, Ohio. We managed to grab this one early monday morning since there were no muggles around we managed to grab the cache with nobody looking, As we replaced it two homeless men asked us for money and we ignored them but they followed us for one block. One was playing a harmonica and the other sang. We were like what the heck ?? The backed off after they saw a Chicago police office walking the beat. Very interesting experience on this one.
[view this log] | October 17 by Lifeguard1 (489 found) Visiting from London, Ontario on business and doing a little bit of caching in my spare time. I found the mailbox without any difficulty and performed my calculations...then converted to metric (I AM from Canada and the GPS is set to work in metric), made my waypoint projection and was off. As I approached the final location amongst all the people, I quickly spotted the cache container. I strategically put my bab down and "tied my shoe"...thus easily retrieving the cache, signing the log and slipping the cache container back to its hiding spot. Thanks for the cache. :)
[view this log] | October 3 by Arick&Amanda (410 found) Another cache that I was glad that I some help with....because by this time I was starving! Thanks, Amanda
[view this log] | October 3 by Mamaduck71 (1317 found) The GALS descended on the city with some awesome slayers that banded with me, Knabino, MoodyGrrl, ClickChik, Amanda, LyonsClan and Cache-me-who-can. Not sure what order we did the cache, but I can tell you that found this one.
