Vasakyrkan invigdes Palmsöndagen år 1909. Kyrkan är byggs i nyromantisk stil med detaljer av jugend. Denna kyrka är ritad av arkitekten Yngve Rasmussen efter att han vann arkitekttävlingen. Kyrkan är byggd i bohusgranit. När kyrkan byggdes så fanns det plats för 1500 personer men idag är kyrkan ombyggd och ungefär 700 personer i kyrksalen och 300 personer på läktaren.

Absiden (som är avslutningen på altarrummet) är en bild av apostlar och änglar som tillber Jesus när han börjar sin himmelsfärd. I kyrkans norra del finns en gotisk mässkalk målad och under den finns en bild av det segrande lammet med korsfanan. Vid dopfunten är en harpa målad. Mosaiken vid kyrkans ingång färdigställdes 1957 och konstnären var Gunnar Erik Ström.

Orgeln i kyrkan är från 1909 och är byggs av Eskil Lundén. Den bestod av 40 stämmor. 1943 byggdes orgeln om av Hammarbergs orgelbyggeri och fick då ytterligare 6 stämmor. 2002 restaurerades orgeln av Grönlunds orgelbyggeri och idag har orgeln 57 stämmor.

Under kyrkan finns en krypta som bland annat används för konfirmandandakter.

Vasakyrkan was inaugurated on the Palm Sunday year 1909. The church is built in neo-romanticism with details of Art Nouveau. The church is designed by the Architect Yngve Rasmussen after he won the architectural competition. The church is built in granite from Bohuslän. When the church was built it had room for 1000 people but today the church is rebuilt to fit 700 people in the church hall and 300 people on the platform.

The apse (that is the ending of the altar room) is a picture of the Apostles and angels that worships Jesus when he starts his way to heaven. The church's northern part has a painted Gothic chalice and underneath it a picture of the victorious lamb and the cross bane. At the Christening font a harp is painted. The mosaic at the entrance was finished in 1957 by the artist Gunnar Erik Ström.

The organ in the church is from 1909 and was built by Eskil Lundén. It consisted of 40 stops. 1942 the organ was rebuilt by Hammarbergs orgelbyggeri and then got 6 more stops. 2002 the organ was restored by Grönlunds orgelbyggeri and today the organ has 57 stops.

Underneath the church was a crypt that for example is used for confirmand devotions.
