The Bunker Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

erik88l-r: Eight no finds in a row, cache owner hasn't logged onto the site in four months nor responded to negative logs........ Looks like it's time to archive this one. If it magically reappears I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located near a old army bunker in the Medicine Bow National forest. The road to it is a bit tough, but I got there in my Saturn SL1.

The cache is accessable from WYO 210 (Happy Jack Road) Mile marker 30. It is accessed by driving north .9 mi on Forest Service Road 710. It is in a blue topped GladLoc plastic container hidden in and covered by rocks. The Pole Mountain area was used for training in WWII by troops at Fort D.A. Russell (Now FE Warren Air Force Base.

The cache has the following,

  • Colorado Avalanche puck (my trademark),
  • Colorado Avalanche sharpie pen,
  • Colorado Rockies pencil,
  • Fish erasre,
  • Smiley Face slinky,
  • toy tanker truck,
  • bag of green army men,
  • plastic Arizona Diamondbacks baseball.
