Radial Radius II Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Grunriese: I visited the cache site today, and the cache container (an ammo can) is missing. Further, the area has changed dramatically, and the area is once again being cultivated. This cache never received a lot of traffic, but the original by FlyinV was my first puzzle cache, and was a lot of fun to solve, so it will be remembered fondly. Sadly, it must now be retired. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

WARNING: The above coordinates are NOT the actual cache location!! Do not navigate to those coordinates thinking that they will yield the actual cache.

NOTE: FTF can be claimed only if you have not found the original Radial Radius!

Radial Radius

The distance from the center of a circle to its perimeter, or from the center of a sphere to its surface.  The radius is equal to half the diameter.

In order to find this cache, a little ground work must first be accomplished!  We are going to give you three sets of coordinates.  The coordinates all fall on the circumference of a circle.  The actual cache is located at the center of that circle.

N 39° 52.166  W 074° 48.817
N 39° 48.036  W 074° 46.645
N 39° 44.929  W 074° 48.488

Please feel free to email me to double check your coordinates before heading out.

This cache was originally hidden by FlyinV.  It was their first hide in New Jersey.  The cache was inspired by an ingenious cache developer from the Las Vegas area who goes by the name ic_nevadamike.

The original incarnation of this cache was my first FTF (and 7th find).  I wasn't really going after the FTF, I was going after something new that started in 2004 - the Yellow Jeep Travel Bug (YJTB).  I wanted it really bad.  To commemorate the YJTB thrill, I've kicked off this version of the cache with one of the original Yellow Jeep TBs.  To my surprise, there was also an FTF pin in the cache, which got me started on the FTF craze.  That pin still hangs on my refrigerator.  Blame FlyinV if I beat you to a cache .

PLEASE:  No spoiler photographs or logs (even if encrypted).  It detracts from our intentions for the cache.
