Located in Audra State Park near the junction of Upshur and Barbour Counties.
We were in town.....? out in the country, and decided to leave a calling card to come back to at next years family picnic. Our cache is a large plastic pretzel jug about a gallon and a half in size. It is stuffed in an old and gnarly stump not far off a trail that runs between two picnic areas it is not hard to find at all. We did not challange your abilities at all with this catch as the idea was to be the first in upshur county but..... this park skirts the county line. Have fun in this park and bring your swim suit the rocks in the Middle Fork river are a blast to climb over, around and splash in the water. Great place for a picnic too. This cache was repoted missing a while ago but....... It's Family Picnic time again, So this cache will be back in place during the day on Tuesday 8/12/03. Thanks for your patience and hope to meet you on the trails. Well it's nice to be here again for another Family Picnic a new jug and log book will be in place later today and we will hopefully be set for a while. It's hard to believe there have been 76 hits already and hopefully many more. 8/7/07

found the cache with very little trouble..may need some upkeep as the paper is getting damp..perhaps a ziploc bag to be placed inside for it? loved the area..so glad we chose this one to find...beautiful scenery!!
