Remember the Burma Shave signs along the highways in years past?

Burma Shave was a brushless shaving cream that was made popular in early 20th century America by a unique advertising campaign that consisted of a series of signs evenly spaced along the America's highways providing an interesting diversion for travelers. They were clever, fun and consequently were quite popular.

Click on the Burma Shave logo below to see a lot of the original Burma Shave signs!

This is the eighth of a series of Burma Caches I have placed. However, this one is a little different. Each of the listed coordinates contains a separate, but related, phrase.

In order to verify your visit, you need to supply the following information:
  1. What are the phrases from each of the coordinates?

Un-verified 'Found It' Logs will be deleted.

Each cache consists of a series of coordinates. At each coordinate you will find two metal washers attached in plain view (usually to a fence or sign post). The washers will have a word or phrase stamped on them.

The coordinates for this cache is are MUCH more spread out than with my other Burma Caches -- they are spread out from one end of the valley to the other. However, all the washers are attached to chain link fencing.

The coordinates for this cache are:

1 N 40° 22.922 W 111° 51.496

We were really looking forward to doing this one today. We actually started at #2, and there is nothing at the coordinates even close to a Burma cache site. From the last log it appears #1 is gone also. We didn't try 3, 4, and 5. Maybe this one needs to be archived. We have had a lot of fun with the other Burma caches.

I searched all over for the first leg and I found nothing. Having found other caches in this series I was looking for the usual and I started looking for other types but found absolutely nothing.

We are also glad to get this one done today. It's taken us a couple of months, but well worth the wait!
