SLAGA is hosting its second annual Halloween party. The event will take place on Saturday October 25th from 6-10 PM at Larson Park in Webster Groves:

Join us for an evening of Halloween geocaching fun. This event will include: Costume Contest, Pumpkin Carving Contest, Bonfire, Smores, Snacks, Drinks, Geocache Prizes!! Please post a "Will Attend" log if you plan to come and indicate how many people you are bringing to the party.
Parking is available near the posted coordinates at the corner of Clairmont Ave and N Denver PL. There is also additional parking at N 38° 35.696 W 090° 22.146. Bring a lawn chair to sit around the fire pit area. There will also be seating available underneath the pavilion.
Costumes
Come dressed in a Halloween costume! We will have prizes for the best geocaching themed costumes, so come dressed as your geocacher profile name. There will also be a prize for the non geocaching costumes also. There is no requirement for the event though so wear what you like!
Pumpkin Carving Contest
We are putting on a pumpkin carving contest once again this years. Prizes will be awarded for the top three pumpkins in each category! The categories are, Best Kid Designed, Best Geocaching Themed, and the Best Traditional Pumpkin. The Kid Design can have an adults help with the carving! SO Bring a PRE-CARVED pumpkin to compete in the Pumpkin Carving contest
Snacks
Bring your favorite finger food/Snack Item to share. Please post in your log what you plan to bring. We will put together a list of items people are bringing on the event page. We will provide Hot cocoa, Cider and Smores. If you plan to bring drinks please keep them non-alcoholic only. Thank you for your contributions to the festivities!
