THIS EVENT
Where: The Leathern Bottle, Lewknor, Nr. Watlington, Oxon. OX49 5TW - just off junction 6 of the M40 onto the B4009.
When: From 7pm on Tuesday April 17th 2012.
What: A chance for those who didn't make it to the launch party in Swansea or any of the Countdown to the Geolympix events since (#11-Oxford #10-Berlin #9-London #8-New York #7-Poole, #6-Oxford-2, #5-Bristol or #4-Edinburgh) to hear more about the Geolympix, discuss caches, caching and cachers and swap travel items in convivial surroundings. There will be lots of Geolympix freebies available on a First Come First Freebied basis, as well as items to buy to help support this not-for-profit event.
Who: All cachers welcome!
- Young, old or undecided.
- Two legs or four.
- Not interested in the Geolympix, just come for a geo-natter.
- New to caching or cache events? You're especially welcome!
THE GEOLYMPIX
Where: The Oxford Town Hall, Oxford, UK. A convenient, central location and a historic venue and surroundings.
When: The main event (GC22T2T) is on Sunday July 22nd 2012, with a full programme of events - including CITO and Night Caching - around it.
What: An international celebration of geocaching, featuring a series of events and challenges to make this a Summer Festival of Caching! With all profits going to charity, a chance to find 11 Icons in 11 Hours and fill up your D/T Grid locally, plus a wealth of other features - talks, debates, sales stands, geocoins and more - we hope you'll love our plans.
Who: Cachers from far and wide. It's being organised to be a GeoKid & GeoDog-friendly programme.
