Wildcat Mountain State Park is nearby and there are caches there
but Ontario itself has no caches. Just so happens we were visiting
relation that live right next to this cemetery. We got to talking
about caching and decided that this cemetery needed a cache. We
didn't come to go caching but the geobags and the gps were in the
geomobile (after all you must be prepared!!) so after visiting
relatives buried here we checked out possible hiding spots. After
doing some searching we came up with what we believe is a good
hiding spot.
Don't be surprised if while searching for this cache a man with
a cane comes to chat with you or watch you search. That would be
our relation that lives next door and he is looking forward to
seeing people look for this one. As this is classified as a
cemetery cache please note it is NOT hidden on any grave marker or
site. If there is a service going on, or folks are visiting their
loved ones when you arrive please be respectful and come back at a
later time. Your understanding and compassion for those folks will
be appreciated.
UPDATE: OCTOBER 22, 2010 Since many seem
to be having problems with this one here is another clue for
you. The numbers in the clue refer to feet and posts.
Hope this helps.
