Geocache Description:

Warning Terrain Rating upgraded because of loose rock. Approach from North side of trail The South side is too unstable. See my maintance logs. There is another way to access the cache that would result in a 3 Terrain.

Thou art going on a quest, a great quest for the Holy Cache. This great treasure was placed in this far land many centuries ago by the great King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Thy journey shall be long and fraught with much difficulty and thou shalt travel to many distant lands where thou must needs do battle many strange beasts. Along thy journey thou shalt discover the Killer Rabbit and the great Knights that go Neeih.

( Not many people know King Arthur invented geocaching because he had so much fun in his search for the Holy Grail. )

The facts.
Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Cache is a themed series-multicache based on the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".

This cache is only the start of your journey.
The final cache ("The Holy Cache") is your final destination. It is a large locked trunk and contains as a first finder prize a Special edition 2 disk DVD set of “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and a New unopened Massage pillow to lie on while you watch your new Monty Python DVD.(Note, 09-16-2003, the first finder prize is now in the hands of "AB4N" Congratulations on being the first finder. But there are still some very nice items in this cache.)
(Note, 01-03-2004, AB4N returned the first finder prize so that some other lucky cacher can win themselves a nice prize. I decided that since the DVD set has already done some traveling, maybe it should continue to do so and as such the first finder DVD set has been converted to a travel bug. You may visit it here.)
There are also other large items that will not fit in a standard cache as well as small items also.

There are a total of 8 loggable caches in this series. However you must first visit this cache Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Cache. to learn the location of the others.

The caches in this series are;

How it works.

This is a series-multi cache leading up to "The Holy Cache" which is the real prize in this search.
The entire cache series must be completed in order to find "The Holy Cache". The order in which they are done is not important, other than you must start with this one "Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Cache".

Once you have found all of the caches in the series you will have the information you need to decipher the location of The Holy Cache and the combination to the lock.

You can do them in one day or over a period of several days.
In order to complete your quest you will need a few items;
A GPS unit (Doh!),
A means of transportation
A pen or pencil,
A calculator,
Your brain,
A clipboard would also make things easier.

This Cache Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Cache is the only one in the series with the actual coordinates posted.

This cache contains a logbook and as well as the instructions you will need to use to find the other clue caches as well as several small trade items.

The caches in this series are all hidden well enough that the chances of a geomuggle finding any of them are low. However all will be checked often to make sure they are all in place. And if any of the caches log a failed find it will be checked immediately and if missing replaced, and notes made on the webpage of the cache here.
Note
Approach from the East ot West, Not from the North or South. You do not have to cross any private property to access this cache!
