Come join us at the
Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center
for our bimonthly public event!
This Saturday will be focusing on introducing the public to geocaching basics. There will be a few temporary caches and GPS units on loan, as well as other fun activities for all ages.
Time: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
This event is a walk-in style event. You can come whenever you'd like in the time frame, and stay as long as you'd like.
The Discovery Center hosts two public programs per month, educating the public on a variety of topics, from reptiles to native plants. On May 16th, the topic will be geocaching! I am hosting this event cache in conjunction with the regularly scheduled program at the center.
Park in the Discovery Center's lot for free and head into the lobby. You can find me at the front desk. I will have the event log and a table for trading pathtags and trackables. I will be there for the duration of the event, so come say hi and sign the log!
The Discovery Center is a nature center with the Missouri Department of Conservation, located in the heart of Kansas City, serving nature and you!
