Geocache Description:

A short hike from nearby street parking. Might be a 2.5 terrain in the spring due to overgrowth of trail.
Would call it a 3 if you try at night (the view is worth it). Beware of doggie land mines!

I just love the view from this cache location. I live less than a tenth of a mile from here and take walks out
to enjoy the views and to contemplate things like life, the universe, and where my next cache find will take me.

View from the cache

If you are lucky, like I was the day I hid the cache, you just might see some Pelecanus occidentalis californicus or the California Brown Pelican flying over the bay from this view point. The name of the cache is for the non-flying, water tight, Pelican 1020 case cache container given to me by my good friend Tom.

If you want a two-fer, the cache Plus One is near trail head number two listed below for this cache.

Update: 12/7/2008 - Changed difficulty level from 3 to 2 and placed a new replacement cache as the original had gone MIA. New location should be easier to find. New container is green round plastic and a bit bigger than the original cache. Lots of new trade items, Music CDs, Pins, Buttons, more... Please take note of how and where it is hidden and replace it just the same.
