Geocache Description:

As the name suggests, possibly one of the most amazing view points in the UK. Both parts of the cache site are easily accessible by a fairly level path.

The co-ordinates will not take you to the cache but to an information point. There is ample pay-and-display parking nearby but you will have to cross a very busy road to the cache site. Do take care.

The cache is named after a song by a British rock band. The final co-ordinates can be worked out by using a combination of clues from the charts and from the information point.

Subtract Thirsk from Knaresborough Castle = A
Subtract Fountains Abbey from Jervaulx Abbey = B
Last two digits of the year the song entered the charts = CD
Subtract York from Great Whernside = E
Number of times the letter "W" appears in the band's name = F

Final co-ordinates: N 54 A.BCD W 001 E.DFC
