I will show you a nice ravine beside the Kanaltal / Val Canale. It is like a drive-in cache. The cache is perfect to change TB´s during your holiday.
You must follow the federal highway to the sign ROVEREDO (between Chiusaforte and Moggio Udinese). Follow the street only 1km / 0,6 miles to the bridge, there is enough parking space.
Equipment:
You need no special equipment to reach the cache. Only shorts, T-Shirt and sport shoes are enough.
From the parking space (N 46°23.900, E 013°15.813)
near the bridge, you must walk approx. 70m / 200 feet.
The Cache:
You can reach the cache easily at the end of the great ravine.
On the cache location, you will find a big cucumber glass. It´s possible to change big TB´s. GPS accuracy is about 15m.
More information:
If you went up the ravine, about 300m / 1000 feet, you will find a natural pool to bathe and rocks surrounding it. The rocks are very good to jump in. There you can eat something or lie in the sun.
5 minutes after this natural pool you will find the first waterfall.
