Geocache Description:

This virtual cache is designed for the traveling Geocacher. It is meant to get you off the highway for a few minutes and show you some of the neat stuff in the areas you drive through. Fully ADA compliant and paved all the way.

Covered bridges in California are rare and this one is rarer yet. You see, nobody knows about it. I've watched TV shows about covered bridges, read books about covered bridges and even checked out tour companies that do 'covered bridge' tours and none of them ever lists this one. It's their loss!
Built in the 1960's, it is of an unusual construction. Unlike any "normal" covered bridge, it is made of curved and laminated wood that is more like the process used in boat building. It is really more of a piece of artwork and must be seen to be fully appreciated.
This cache will test your navigational skills. It is easy to get to and the road is paved all the way. The trick is to pick the right road. There are several places that you can go astray.
To claim a find for this cache, post your comments on this Cache Page PLUS a photo of yourself, or your group, at the bridge for all of us to enjoy. Be sure to include an "artsy" end view of the bridge.

***** POSTING YOUR FIND*****

The photo is a REQUIRED ELEMENT to claim a find for this cache. If you can not post the photo, don't log a find. If you log the find and do not post the photo at the same time, I will delete your find. Sorry, those are the rules of the game.
