Park at N35 48757 W106 11958 for a round trip hike of about a mile. Park at N35 49452 W106 11081 for a hike of about one and a half miles. Those of you who are familiar with the area will think of other parking options as well. The trail is easy and well defined. There is no appreciable change in altitude.
The cache is an Altoids tin that contains a log, a pencil, 2 NRA collector medallions, one of which is a Whitetail medallion and the other is a Pronghorn. There is also a North American Hunting Club medallion and key ring. If you leave something, it will obviously have to be small and thin. My GPS had an accuracy of about 36 feet on the day I took my readings. So keep that in mind while searching. Feel free to add your own readings to your log if you choose. The cache is close to the trail so watch for hikers while accessing the cache. You may want to pretend you are enjoying the view if someone comes by. Incidentally, you will have a good view of White Rock Canyon and the Rio Grande River. Enjoy. I am not adding any hints unless it becomes necessary.
