Located over 6000 ft near the highest point on this butte, a beautiful view awaits the adventurous souls who care to challenge this peak.
We have placed this cache to challenge the hiker/climber who is in good physical condition. Finding the best way up is half the feat(we didn't and spent 5 hours working our way there), with the climb being quite rewarding when you get the panoramic view from the summit. Good topo map reading skills (which we apparently lack) will be an asset. Allow a few hours for climbing to be sure to have time to enjoy the serenity after an rigorous climb.
The cache is a wide mouth plastic jar, but will not hold large items. Have a great climb, take plenty of water, be careful, watch out for critters in the warmer months!
