Thorpe Park is home to the headquarters of the Winnebago County Conservation Board. The area contains a mix of uplands and wetlands, as well as amenities such as a shelterhouse, a campground, and Lake Catherine, a small fishing lake. The park has been the site of trumpeter swan releases and swans nest in the marsh each year. In October, 2006, a trio of whooping cranes also visited the park! Please practice CITO when hunting for this cache. Thanks!
