Adams Square Mini-Park is the newest of Glendale's pocket
parks.
This location has special meaning to us as our families both lived
on Adams Hill next door to one another. We grew up in this
neighborhood and it is where we met. Back then, in the 70s, a gas
station and repair shop were still operating out of this 1936
historic Richfield Oil Company gas station. Also located at this
intersection was a Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors ice cream store and
Graziano's Italian Market.
The City of Glendale has refurbished the gas station and
incorporated it into a mini-park. The structure is an example of
the Streamline Moderne, Art Deco style which was popular in the
1930s. This architectural style emphasizes curving forms, long
horizontal lines, and sometimes nautical elements.
This park may have considerable muggle activity. Have a seat on
the bench and enjoy the view while contemplating the cache
location.

ANOTHER EASY FIND UNTIL I HAD FIVE LITTLE MUGGLES WATCHING ME. SO I HAD PUT IT BACK REALLY SLOWLY AND WALK AWAY FAST. SO AS I DROVE PASS THEM I SAW THEM LOOKING AT THE CONTAINER. I EXPLAIN TO THEM WHAT THE GAME WAS ALL ABOUT AND ASK THEM TO LEAVE IT ALONE BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO TAKE IT WITH THEM. SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK ON IT.

6th of 14 finds on a hot Saturday. In the middle of doing the nearby "Adams Snowbird Cache" with RavRobin and BenH57, RavRobin and I took a slight detour and grabbed this one. I had the hardest time replacing it, for some reason. TFTC.

7th of 15 finds today with Foon, while Ben waited patiently since he had already found it.  Foon and I walked right to the obvious place and we both said, "A cache!"  Glad to see that they converted this place to a cute park! SL! TFTC!

Came to Glendale area with UNCLE JON for his medical appt. I was able to grab a few, and the we grab more caches and done some cache maintenace as well. TFTH. SL. Came by twice today because of muggles. I believe this had the new log.
