Geocache Description:

Very quiet area. There is a place to park. Can you see the orange cone? Please respect the signage around the installation. When found please replace me as I was found. Thank you

Completed in 1960 to supply drinking water to Loring Air Force Base after it was found that the LAFB on site wells were providing insufficient output. This facility provided drinking water to all of LAFB until its closure in 1994.
