After extensive discussions to determine the shape of the conference room table (round, with a nice lazy Susan in the middle), a team of negotiators sat down in the DMZ in Tonopah to hammer out an agreement setting the stage for recognizing the oldest caches in the Silver State. These discussions, heated at times, continued through the day and night for a period of decades. Finally, the 38th Parallel was selected as the dividing line for establishing two of these caches.
Your task is to find and log each of the caches in the following list, each of which is on the Blue (North) side of the 38th Parallel:
A bookmark list of these caches can be found HERE.
Please note that a number of caches originally on the list of required caches have since been archived. These caches are Project FAULTLESS (GC22C1), Project SHOAL (GC22DE), The Itchy and Scratchy Show (GCJ32Y) and Ehh, what's up, doc? (GC1EF9) . Anyone who has logged finds of those caches will be "grandfathered in", but the list has been updated to reflect the current list of caches.
As you get close to completing the list, you may choose to work a visit to the final stage into one of your journeys. This will hopefully save you some fuel and time. DO NOT LOG THIS AS A FIND UNTIL YOU HAVE FOUND AND LOGGED ALL REQUIRED CACHES!
The final stage is a (relatively) short hike up a steep slope. You will gain approximately 200' in elevation. Please note that the slope is rocky and somewhat loose. Oh, and you have to cross a small river too. Fortunately, there's a relatively straightforward way to do this if you walk east along the road...
Prior to logging the final stage as “Found”, please post a “Note” with a list of documenting your finds for each of the above caches. This note should include the cache name, GC# and the date on which you found each required cache. Bonus points for including links to your log entries.
Any “Found” logs that do not meet all cache requirements may be deleted without warning!
Thanks to LewisClan77 for the original concept for this cache.
