All Gave Some - Some Gave All Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Conman: Sorry guys - I pulled the container and forgot to archive the cache.

Thanks to everyone who found it and have some to pay their respects. There have several new items added to the Memorial Garden. Perhaps a new cache will appear there some time.

Geocache Description:

This cache will take you through a short walk through Veterans Memorial Gardens.

Twice a year we bring the whole family here on Veteran's Day and on Memorial Day to remember those who have so bravely served our great nation. The city has a short ceremony here on those days. There is always an interesting speaker, patriotic music, taps being played, and a volley being fired. The highlight of the event for my kids is the opportunity to "police the brass" after the final volley. There is also a very nice and peaceful foundtain with benches located next to it as well giving the visitor a time to sit and reflect.

To find the final all that is needed is for you to walk through the gardens and find info off of the memorial stones and plaques.

The format of the final cordinates will be as follows:

N 42 AB.CDE W 085 JK.LMN

A = Count the number bricks with names of them which symbolize those lost from our area and then subtract 4 from the War of Terror.
B = Find the plaque from the Persian Gulf. Add the numbers of MIA and KIA together and divide that total by 123.
C = Find the plaque from the Vietnam War. Find the total of those who served and use the thousands digit.
D = Find the Korean War plaque. Find the number of those who served. Use the millions digit.
E = Find the World War II plaque. Do you recognize the date listed as the official start of the war? Find the number of those who served. Use the very first digit in that number.
J = Find the Spanish American War plaque. Take the tens digit of those who had served and subtact it by 2.
K = Find the World War I plaque. Find number of those wounded in action. Look at the one's digit and subtract that by 1.
L = Find the Civil War plaque. Take ones and tens digits and add them together from the number of those who served.
M = Find the plaque from the Mexican War. Take the last three digits of those who had served and then add all three together. Take that total and divide it by 8.
N = Find the plaque from the War of 1812. Find the number of those who had served. Take the hundreds digit and add 1.
