Geocache Description:

This is a locationless cache to find Armouries/Drill Halls around the world.

What is an Armoury/Drill Hall you ask? They are buildings built or used for training and drill(marching) by Armed Forces(Regular and Reserve) around the world. They most often consist of a very large enclosed drill hall and attached area for offices, classrooms, storerooms and messes for the various ranks.

To get credit for the find:

Post the location (town, province, country)of the structure along with a picture (with gps) and the name of the Armoury.

A few simple rules:

- Only one log per cacher
- Only one log per Armoury
- Log must state gps co-ord’s
- List Regiment(s) or unit(s) currently residing in the building
- And if you know the history or year the building was
built please provide that information

Posts without pictures will be deleted, so don’t log your post until you have your pictures ready to upload.

I will also accept pictures of old Armouries no longer being used as such, just tell us what it is being used as.
Example: The Delta London Armouries Hotel in London, Ontario. Formally an Armoury now preserved and used as a hotel.

Below are pictures of the Brockville Armoury in Brockville, Ontario. Built between 1900 and 1902 and home of The Brockville Rifles Reserve Regiment.
