Got Change for a Sand Dollar ? Traditional Cache

Update 5/22/2002 - placed a new cache in a different less-travelled area of the park. The trail gets rather muddy in a couple short hilly areas.

• Avoid the spitting sand dollars if you can
• Search for crabs in the receding puddles at the water’s edge
• Try to figure what the heck a geoduck really is, and why it’s pronounced “gooey-duck” – (ok, that part’s pretty easy isn’t it?)

Note – if you see lots of wildlife around that suddenly gets quiet and disappears, that’s because the local bald eagle is around. Its nest is up above the homes on the hill in the east.

To find the cache:

• park at the coordinates listed above
• walk to the beach, enjoy it
• on the way back, you'll pass a clearing with a bench
• sit in the bench, look to your left, go up that trail
• cache is at N.47-19.494 W.122-23.240
  (note, coords might be a little off - will recheck soon)

The cache is your basic dark green ammo can, hopefully reasonably well concealed.
