Geocache Description:

An easy find within a mile of Pembroke Castle in SW Wales

Hi ... my name is Lauren and I'm five. My Grandfather 'Grumpy' lives in Pembroke, Wales. I live in Redmond, Washington .. close to Seattle in the USA. As I
live so far away I can't visit as often as I'd like to ... so could you say hi for me instead ?

Grumpy has hidden the Grumpys Grotto cache by his house, close to Pembroke Castle. Don't miss it if you're in the area.

A fairly boring website has this to say about Pembroke Castle:
"The unsurpassed strength of this mighty Norman Castle, sited on a high ridge between two tidal inlets, gave it the distinction of never haven fallen to the Welsh. The strategic position, on a major routeway, was chosen early in the first Norman incursions into south-west Wales, when the castle was founded by Roger of Montgomery in 1093, and it stood firm against Welsh counter-attacks in subsequent years"

Whew ..

The cache is a tupperware container that initially contains :
Wallace and Grommet Air freshener
Pocket Draughts (Checkers) Set
Whistle
Key Ring
Quantity of foreign stamps

The cache is in a tupperware container just ( inches ) onto private property .. but it's Grumpy's house and he doesn't mind.
