On a recent holiday to Morroco I was upset to find there was no physical cache on Jebel Toubkal (the highest point in North Africa) so along with a UK letterboxer we decided to set up a cache.
If you're on your way to the summit, from the Toubal refuge, you are bound to pass close by to this cache as it is at the saddle, at 3975m, where you are likely to start your final ascent to the summit of Toubkal (4165m).
One the walk up Jebel Toubkal you will probably need a break before heading off to the summit and why not have a break & claim a cache?
It is possible to see the other cache on Toubal from this location GC98C3, a virtual cache associated with the mast at the summit.
This is a phyical cache concelled within a rock outcrop close to the main path. You are looking for a red container with a yellow lid within a green carrier bag. If a visitor would like to replace the container then that would be appreciated, as this was placed with limited access to suitable equipment.
The cache originally contained - 2 pens, a brooch, wet wipes, a pack of playing cards, a suduko, tissues & some business cards.
There is no first to find (FTF) prize but there is a request that the FTFer sends back the enclosed, stamped addressed postcard to the Tagine Lovers with a message.
