How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This will be a workshop to answer any basic questions that cachers have about GSAK. It will be held at the Technical Trades Academy (105 Middleton Street) on Sunday March 1st, 2015 from 2-4PM. We will only be able to accomodate no more than 25 cachers, so please sign up as soon as possible. There has been talk about grabbing a bite to eat after the workshop, but we'll leave that to be informal.

This event will be of interest to anyone that has limited or no knowledge of GSAK. I'm asking that cachers who have a greater degree of knowledge with this program, not to sign up for this event in order to allow those who want to learn about it, an opportunity to attend. If you have any specific questions that you would like addressed during the event, please send me an email with your questions beforehand, so that I can make a quick agenda. I am, by no means (and Lisdowney will attest to this), an expert in using this program but the idea came to me after MANY cachers had mentioned to me that they would be interested in such an event.

If you have a laptop, please bring it along as WIFI will be available. Also, please try to make sure that you have installed the latest version of GSAK.

If you are not staying for the event, but just wanted to pop in and stay for a few minutes, this would be fine. Please specify in your log whether you will need a seat as you are staying for the event, or if you are just popping in to say hello.
