Geocache Description:

Just off one of the several trails going around the Thurston Nature Center, this is a good excuse to take a nice walk around Thurston Pond as many people in the neighborhood also do! You may have to look around the base of some trees...

On the west side of the Thurston Nature Center, off one of the "rougher" (not very rough!) side trails from the main trail that goes around Thurston Pond. It's a fun reason to explore more of this nice natural area that is near Thurston Elementary School. Look behind some trees... Geocache box updated again on 7/9/2011 that should survive any flooding a little better than the previous two boxes! As of 3/3/2020 there's a new box that shouldn't leak for a long time!
