The first thing you will need to do before attempting this cache is
to read, or better still have someone read you, the appropriate
chapter of “House at Pooh corner”. Once you have read the story you
will be able to start the cache.
Now that you have read the book and understand the game ,
you will need to find an appropriate bridge, with a nearby supply
of sticks and stones (just in case someone should get “boffed” into
the water). The co-ordinates listed above will take you to a bridge
that Biggles Bear found, which was quite good to play “Pooh Sticks”
on. When you log your find be sure to report the co-ordinates of
the bridge that you found to play “Pooh Sticks” on.
When you log your find you will have to rate your “Pooh
Stick” skill from the following criteria;
Piglet or Roo |
I had to lie on my tummy so I could drop my sticks in the
water |
Pooh Bear or Rabbit |
I was able to look over the second rail to drop my sticks
in the water. |
Christopher Robin |
I stood on the second rail and could look over the top rail
to drop my sticks in the water. |
Eeyore |
I was minding my own business when I was bounced and fell
in the water. |
Tigger |
I sort of boffed, and Eeyore fell in the
water. |
Once you have found a bridge and played "Pooh Sticks" proceed to
S 37° 47.161’ E 145° 00.909’ here you will find
the cache (a 2 litere sistema clip top container), unfortunatley
you are not allowed to play "Pooh Sticks" from the nearby bridge,
but you may be able to spot where the cache is hidden.
The cache contains all manner of treasure, a log book, but no
pen.
